The Celts revered the human head above all other body parts. They believed that beheading an enemy transferred the beheaded's life energy and knowledge to the head hunter. To this end, a real Celt would definitely approve of this skull dagger, especially considering the massive skull with Celtic ornamentation that serves as the pommel. What's more, with its elegant, leaf-shaped blade, this dagger looks downright intimidating. The dramatically bent crossguard is of an impressively sturdy design, and the grooves on both sides make it look comparatively filigree. The wooden grip is covered with textured brown leather that makes it feel great in your hand. Forming a stable unit with the grip, the pommel is the most prominent feature on our skull dagger. A matching scabbard with a handsome chape and throat is covered with the same textured brown leather found on the grip.
