Braveheart Two Handed Sword William Wallace
But regardless of how historically accurate this two handed sword is, its symbolic value is indisputable – that is why it was featured in the movie "Braveheart" with Mel Gibson.
On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the movie, we are proud to present the exclusive, William Wallace Braveheart two handed sword for the first time. This replica is very similar to the sword that appears in the movie, especially because Simon Atherton, the prop master for the "Braveheart" movie, was involved in its development. Hand forged of 1095 carbon steel, the blade of this sword is approx. 120 cm long. It has a slight taper and ends in a pear-shaped, riveted pommel. The grip is made of wood wrapped in dark brown leather that also includes the ricasso. A crossguard with a rectangular profile and a langet with a decorative pattern complete the hilt.
This William Wallace Braveheart two handed sword does not include a scabbard (historically accurate), but comes with a wall display and a certificate of authenticity.
