Many churches and cathedrals in Europe contain gravestone reliefs and statues dedicated to the memory of knights and nobles. That is true of Gothic St. Mary's Church in British Beddington, where the grave of Sir Roger Elmebrygge is located. We don't know much about this knight, but the writing on the stone indicates that he became sheriff of Surrey and Sussex on November 7, 1437 and died shortly thereafter on the 23rd. He is depicted in incredible detail in a full suit of armor, which of course includes his sword.

Our Gothic knight sword is based on Sir Roger's sword. The relatively wide steel blade tapers dramatically to the point, and the narrow fuller stops halfway from the base. The crossguard, whose ends are gently curved, and the riveted fish tail pommel are made of brass. The wooden grip is wrapped with black leather.

This Gothic knight sword includes a black leather scabbard with a mount and chape.
