Stage combat rapiers have to meet different requirements than battle-ready rapiers do. In order to minimize the risk of injury from cuts and thrusts during stage combat with fencing weapons, this golden stage combat rapier has back edges that are at least 3 mm thick everywhere and it even has a flattened point.

It only weighs a little over a kilogram, so our golden stage combat rapier is light and highly manageable. Good balance is not the only characteristic that makes this stage combat rapier manageable – its grip is also very important. Because it is wrapped with both smooth and braided golden wire, it is especially comfortable to grasp. The delicate knuckle bow and finger guard give this rapier a graceful, romantic look and also provide finger protection when a technique requires them to be placed above the crossguard. The pommel is bolted on.

Of course this golden stage combat rapier comes with a leather scabbard with a golden mount and chape.
